CANDLE CARE / SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Important warnings and safety instructions

⚠️ Our decor/freestanding candles are primarily for decorative purposes. If you still want to light it, please observe the following safety measures:
• Never leave a burning candle unattended!
• Keep a burning candle away from flammable objects and heat sources!
• Make sure there is enough distance between burning candles!
• Do not burn the candle in a draft!
• Always place the candle upright!
• Extinguish the flame by smothering it – not by blowing it out!
• Do not move a burning candle!
• Never use liquids to extinguish fires!
• Keep the candle out of the reach of children and animals!
• Before lighting, shorten the wick to approximately 5–7 mm!
• Always place candles on a fireproof surface (e.g. coaster) or place unstable candles in candleholders (if necessary, choose a candleholder with a spike). Make sure the candle is standing firmly and is in an upright position!
• Use an appropriate container for candles that can liquefy!
• Remove matchstick residue, wick pieces or other foreign objects from the liquid wax

Note: Due to its special shape and not being in jars, decor candles are likely to leak. Make sure to place it on a suitable surface that will catch the wax. Wax can easily be removed from cold, smooth surfaces once it has hardened.
